Similar to Hydro Excavation, Pneumatic Excavation is a very similar process to Hydro Excavation, but with the usage of compressed air as opposed to water utilized to break up dirt and material. The advantage to Pneumatic Excavation is that it allows our operators to excavate an area without using water which allows the spoil materials to be redeposited on site for use as backfill, or to be removed and disposed of offsite. Pneumatic Excavation is quickly becoming the go-to for large cities and where there are tight environmental controls.

Bennefits include:

-
Excavates some rocky soils where a shovel is difficult to use.
-
Breaks soil into small particles that are ideal for re-compaction.
